How to build a content machine that works for you 24/7:
A content machine is peace of mind in case you get laid off, need to find customers, want to build something people love or want feedback on an idea
It’s your own version of Jeff Bezos’ acquisition of The Washington Post. Your own media arm.
To fuel your content machine, you need to feed it interesting stories.
A content machine only works when people share the stories you feed it.
This is what makes a content machine fire on all cylinders:
Pick an underserved “super” niche
Not a niche, a super niche. If a niche is small, a superniche is tiny.
You find a niche and go even nicher.
I like to use Reddit, Google Trends, FB Groups to have a clear understanding of what superniche I’m focusing on
Find a format that stands out and is shareable in your niche
A format is the way you’re communicating what you’re saying.
Could be a classic meme image, long stories, short stories, animation with cartoons etc.
Wrap format in an entertaining way
Now that you’ve got your formtat, how can you make it easy to consume and even easier to make people want to share it
Create content system to scale content production to “infinite content”
I like “newsjacking” as a way to produce infinite content.

Automate to create content daily
Most people say you should be on every platform.
I don’t agree.
You really need to just pick 1 format, 1 major platform.
They all have hundreds of millions if not billions of active users.
That’s more customers then you know what do with.
We’ve all learned by now that working for big companies isn’t as safe as we think.
300,000+ people have been laid off in tech jobs in the last 12 months from places like Google to Meta.
So, if you have a job, you can use a content machine (h/t on the beautiful drawing)
That’s your backup plan.
If you’re a solopreneur/entrepreneur/multipreneur, a content machine makes you more lucky.
And we can all use a little extra luck. (View Tweet)
